Everyone that has parked their cars in this image has paid a parking fee using apps or the physical machines that you use to pay. This provides the city with data which makes it possible to determine when most people visit the city center by car. You should be able to determine a lot about traffic in general by analyzing data from parking, public transport and such which you can use to improve parking situations and traffic situations. In the distance you can see the ferries that traffic the sound. This is regular traffic to neighboring Denmark (which is what you see on the other side of the sound). Using data from ticket saled you should be able to determine flows of people. For instance it is not uncommon that people live in Denmark and work in Sweden and vice versa. Also - air quality can be measured. One significant problem in Helsingborg is that the ferries pollutes the air a lot. There is a lot of data collected about air quality. This can be (and has been used) to make improvements to the ferry traffic so it generates less pollution.
