There is a lot of building going on in Helsingborg right now. I do not really feel qualified enough to say what buildning materials that are a part of the globalised economy, but one thing I do know is that many construction workers travel to Sweden to work from eastern european companies (like Poland and the Baltic states). They get paid a lot more here than in their home countries, and the construction companies have been known to pay them less than Swedish workers. A fact that has been discussed a lot here, since the workers get paid too little and Swedish construction workers feel the competiton from these EU migrants are unfair to local swedes.
