While I live in Sweden (as listed in the form), this image was taken when I visited Tokyo, Japan, in 2013. The electrical cables hanging over the street are clear indication of the necessity of electricity for the urban environment of the 21st century. This particular neighborhood in Tokyo is quite old, and this image makes it apparent that getting enough electricity in these older parts have been very crucial, although it obviously has not been possible to place the cables in the ground. Also visible is the vending machines (very common in japanese cities) and air conditioning units - which are crucial parts to making the city livable and they very much require electricity.
