The dominant Fossil fuel contributors for Energy demand are the Coal ,Oil and Oil Products and lastly Bio/waste productions. Firstly, out of the Production and imports of 35,606 Peta Joules of Energy,13695 Peta Joules of energy needs to be imported from other countries. This leads to a conclusion that nearly 38% of the total production of energy comes from other countries, which is great matter of concern.Secondly, the total energy gradient between the energy production and energy consumption is 13,484 petajoules which is fairly balanced entropy. However, if the total consumption s for the Industry ,Transport and Others are combined ,majority of the energy production comes primarily from Oil,Oil products ,Coal and secondarily from Electricity and Bio-fuel/waste.The advantage for India is that the energy consumption which is maximum for Others ,which is about 9967 petajoules out of 22122 PetaJoules, comes from Bio-fuel and waste which is produced in India itself ,which is CO2 free emission. it is very important for India to stop these imports and increase the alternative source of energy productions like solar energy, photovoltaics and Nuclear energy.Though the initial setup cost for the Nuclear energy ,wind mills are too high, the production of energy by solar can be benefical at local level.
