FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"

First, the image was NOT taken by me, it is from the city's public page (www.montevideo.gub.uy). Invisible Information: 1. The bus we can see going towards that big building in the back is (most likely) full of people going to work, as it is going to one of the biggest working hub of the city. 2. The buses we can see coming from that big building are probably empty, since all the people on them (probably) got off to work. This happens everyday and I believe that it is absolutely inneficient. We have hundreds of lines going everywhere around Montevideo (an area of 201 km2), and converging in 3-4 spots in the city, that are 20-30 blocks apart. As soon as I saw Singapur's analysis of urban mobility, I thought it was a great idea to use a few connected lines of buses that converge in some spots from where people can move anywhere they work (in the morning) and then to were they live in (in the afeternoon). That would be much more efficient, sustainable and environmentally sound. But unfortunately we are far from that.
