This is my grandmother's house. The house is roughly 70 years old, of course they do some renovations. The house is originally made of bamboos. They use bamboo as the foundations and for the walls as well. The roof is made of dried Nipa leaves. This is a perfect example use of alternatives of steel and cement. Bamboos are cheap but they are durable and they last for many years.
