The sky scrapers in Bangkok are mainly constructed from steel and reinforced concrete. Most of the steel is imported from China as a cheaper source that can meet the increasing demand. Albuminous cement is also imported and adding to normal cement in concrete construction of pier foundations, reinforced concrete for raised motor ways and the transport rail lines.
