People: Stockholm is multicultural city. There available data about number of people migrating. Interesting number was amount of re-immigrants, people leaving Sweden and coming back. It divides people of a certain city into two groups, people physically in a city and people having attachment to a city. Something like me and my hometown Bratislava. I don't live there I feel strongly about the current issues trying to contribute. That is very special kind of ´stock´ a city has, more of a mental one. Water: water is very present in Stockholm. In the city lake Mälaren flows into Baltic sea. A constant flow leaving the city. Project on my photo is reconstruction of the water gate between the lake and sea, preventing the lake from overflowing. Lake Mälaren is also main water source (stock) for 2,5mil people. Food: Sweden is pretty self-sufficient in most dairy, meat and cereal. The climate is not very good for growing variety of food so the import is large. Result of globalization and changes in eating habits. Cities have to import almost all food from the rural areas urban gardening exists but it does not really contribute.
