Uploaded on 2018-04-18 by Juan Jose Tejada
Visible information: An intersection of two streets, with cobblestones in the surface, and sidewalks to the side, some with a brick surface, others with travertine marble. There is a two-story building at the corner, and the walls seems to be stone of a light-yellow color, while in the second floor has plaster painted white. Two more buildings can be seen further away, the walls also with plaster painted white. All buildings have wooden doors and windows on the first floor, and the building at the corner has balconies with doors leading to them.On the building at the corner there is a signboard on which it's written the words GIFT SHOP and other words in Spanish. Invisible information: The picture is from the old town in Santo Domingo, the first European City in America, founded in 1496. It's now a great attraction for local people and tourists.f Useful information for planning: Wide sidewalks clearly defined, buildings with entrances to the sidewalks and windows, low heights, the roofs making a pleasant line of sight, are the elements I see most contributing to a livable city. An area reserved for street parking seems to the right side, as well as the street.
