The purpose of this app for smart phone is to improve the waste management of a city. With the Waste Warriors application, you can become a “waste warrior” and help the city to identify problems and needs of waste collection, to improve the collection and the cleanliness of waste containers/baskets and suggestion actions. The app has geo-localized all the public waste baskets and the domestic waste set-out container of the city, and propose you 2 types of actions : identifying a problem with a specific waste basket of container and/or suggest an action to improve the management of waste in the city. You can also add comments to detail your concern. The information is sent to the waste management department of the city to be analyzed and prioritized. The city can identify problems in the collection of the waste, needs of new baskets/containers, where are the informal site of waste and where to improve the cleanliness.
