The City App I would like to propose is related to the state (real - present) and relative feedback (expectation - future) of the roads in the city of Edinburgh, where I currently live. The application will be designed to give information: 1. The location of the issue, with live or offline GPS locator; 2. The rate of the issue, e.g. human life at risk, vehicles damage, etc.; 3. The instance of the issue: traffic (e.g. traffic jam, road works, etc.), maintenance (e.g. holes, growing vegetation in the road, big water puddles, water leaks, etc.), particular event (e.g. groups of people demonstrating, parades, etc.); 4. The expected action to solve the issue, e.g. requesting firefighters/police/ambulance intervention, etc. The information would be filtered in order of importance (e.g. more importance to a human-life-at-risk message or a 100-time reported hole) and would be given a timescale to have the problem solved.
