1. In Kenya, the dominant fossil fuels used for energy production are oil products and coal 2. The dominant fossil fuels are mainly used for transport and Industry 3. In order to improve the sustainability and environmental friendliness of Kenya I would introduce a policy to subsidize all energy produced from geothermal sources. The Great Rift Valley runs through Africa, and with it being and incredible resource harnessing geothermal energy more of Kenya's energy should be produced in this way. A way of doing this can be seen in the image attached. In addition, I would, as has been done in many other countries, a minimum standard for the condition of vehicles, as well as promoting the use of public transport. This would decrease vehicle usage, while increasing the efficiency of vehicles and therefore decreasing energy consumption.
