For going from home to my work place I use 2 different routes, depending on the time of the day. In the morning, I prefer to go to work by taxi. It is shorter in time and distance. It is more expensive compare to route 2 and I am not really in contact with the city. But It is an opportunity to me to start working before arriving to my work place. I also arrive "fresh", without having supported the noise of the city, or the contamibation or even the heat. To return home, I prefer to use the route 2, using public transport (boat and metro) and walking. It is better at this time of the day. It is also an opportunity to do exercice, to do some shopping, to be in contact with people and the city. But sometimes could be exhausted because of the weather, the noise and the crowd.
