As a member of the local government, I will first organize several public meetings in the specific neighborhood to listen the inhabitants and to understand why they feel unsafe in their neighborhood. It is important to understand why and where in particular. The second step will be to provide solutions as a citizen design science project. Using the format of public meetings, the inhabitants of the neighborhood will present their solutions to feel safer walking during the night. After identifying several actions as solutions, an app can be developed. Through this app, the citizen can geo-localize and send to the local government, where is the problem and what kind of actions can be made. In the same time, with an allocation from the local government, the community will put in actions some solutions from their own.
