Balashikha is experiencing an environmental load from exhaust emissions from motor vehicles and various industries. However, the city is surrounded by forests and forest parks, local authorities are trying to increase the number of parks, squares and boulevards in the city. Trees improve air quality and reduce temperature. c. Habitat or Supporting services. The city borders with the Losiny Ostrov National Park. It limits the anthropogenic impact on flora and fauna, some of which are listed in the Red Book of Moscow and the Moscow Region. d. Cultural services. One of the favorite recreational areas for residents is a well-maintained pedestrian zone along the Pechorka River.
