In my country fossil fuel sources dominate above others and oil production and gas production are the most important with comparatively small difference in amount of use. Around 30% of gas and 40% of oil is exported. The rest of the oil is used primarily in transportation and non-energy used industry. As for the natural gas, it is widely used in residential, industrial sectors and pipeline transport. One of the strategies can be to reduce the amount of oil spent for roads by implementing fares for using high-consuming cars and simultaneous development of rail services that consume electricity. Also, we need to reduce the amount of heat and gas consumed by residential sector. By building high energy class buildings and adjusting the existing ones we can lower the energy demand. Overall, the goal should be to increase the share of electricity, and this is so because of many reasons. Although there are ways to obtain electric power, we still rely on non-renewables.
