Terreiro do Paço in Lisbon is one of the most visited squares in Lisbon by tourists. Here is the quay of the columns, from where the Portuguese caravels left for their discoveries. A square open to the river Tejo and to the rest of the city. Always with a crowd of people to visit, enjoy, take a meal, observe the river, or just take a photo to remember where you were and where this globalized world was formed. The site is a square with a statue of a Portuguese king in the center. Surrounded by buildings built after the earthquake of 1755. We can also take from this photo, the huge amount of tourists that visit this part of the city and the use that makes of it. Looking at the totally naked square of any urban equipment, we may perhaps think of ways to provide a better experience for tourists who visit the Terreiro do Paço.
