I use my car to get to my work, via route number 1 as per the attached route map. there is no really good alternative to my form of transportation. When i take the car it takes me about 30 min should i walk it would take me 3 hrs and 37 min should i make use of public transport it will take me 1 hr and 35 min. So time is the major factor in my choice. apart from time, walking in South Africa is not safe for a number of reasons: 1. side walks are badly or not provided 2. crime is high so as a woman alone on the streets you are putting yourself in danger
