Question 1: Economy, Political Stability, Climate, Job Opportunities and Environment. Question 2: Johannesburg South Arica. Reasons why I live here. Climate, Environment, Infrastructure, Proximity to Family & Friends. Unfortunately my current place of residence scores very low when assessed against my 'Liveability Criteria'. If one was to apply equal weighting to the five criteria (i.e. 20 points each), on an overall scale of 100, a figure of 43 would apply. A score for the city would be fairly similar, as the top five criteria have a wide-ranging impact. Question 4: Ecomony and political issues in South Africa stem from poor governance and thus fall out side the area of influence of the major. Where corruption is rife in all levels of government, the first focus should be to address this. Secondly, due to South Africa's past, politically there is a great deal of instability. Nepatistim has crept in and service delivery has virtually failed. Measures to address historical equality, have to a great deal failed as they have been allowed to benefit "strategic individuals" as opposed to the wider population. Question 5: Melbourne, Vancouver & Singapore; Economy, Climate, Job Opportunty, Infrastructure & Health Care.
