Top-5 criteria that I think contribute the most to a city's livability are: 1) Environment 2) Culture 3) Safety 4) Economy 5) Transportation Top reasons for living in Rohtak for me are as follows: 1) There is lot of social support for me in terms of access to friends and relatives since I did most of my schooling here. 2) Rohtak is very well connected through road and railways with rest of the country and is just a couple of hours drive from national capital. 3) Public amenities provided by the city in terms of cultural spaces, sports facilities, medical care, green spaces, sewage and drainage system are among the best in India. 4) Rohtak happens to be less polluted than other cities in North India such as New Delhi. 5) City hosts many educational establishments. This helps to provide for easy availability of human capital required for business. Livability score for Rohtak: 1) Environment 45/100 2) Culture 80/100 3) Safety 85/100 4) Economy 75/100 5) Transportation 80/100 Overall score: 73/100 Public transportation needs to be put in place for transportation within the city along with development of footpaths and bicycle lanes to reduce congestion and improve the air quality. Some of the cities I can select to move in case I decided to change place of residence to another city are: a) Berlin b) Zurich c) Salamanca Qualities of these places which guided me towards this decision are: 1) Culture 2) Safe and calm environment 3) Sustainable living opportunities 4) Transportation facilities 5) Economy
