The picture was taken at Firodiya centre for inspiration, snehalaya at Ahmednagar in Nagpur. While considering construction to be a localized activity, this structure was created for local people who can familiarise with contemporary architecture. The flooring is of broken Shahbad stone and the walls have thermal consideration towards the design. The flow of air in a hot and dry climate is tackled well and there is a slight temperature difference of 4 degrees in internal spaces because straw and clay were also used with the brick wall construction and hence made thicker. The walls are white washed to make the spaces reflect light and seem brighter. The geodesic dome is where the technology aspect came into picture , it forms a spatial and a visual function, also adding aesthetic to the structure.
