This picture was taken at a carpark behind Old Airport Road Food Centre in Kallang, Singapore. Visible information that can be derived from this include the volume of traffic at different times of the day and different days of the week - whether, for example, traffic spikes during meal times and/or weekends. More interestingly however, invisible information can be derived in conjunction with data from other carparks elsewhere: patterns of parking and congestion in different areas of the city, the demographics of people visiting areas such as this one through cross-comparison of the prices of cars parked in the area, the primary purpose of the usage of this particular carpark through analysis of its usage trends.
