This photo is of the Triangeln train station in Malmoe, Sweden, the city across the water from Copenhagen, Denmark. After considerable investment in building the Oresund bridge for cars and trains, a train tunnel was built under the city of Malmoe and this station was created at the end of its pedestrian shopping street. Thousands of people commute across the bridge to Copenhagen every day and when wind conditions or other delays occur the effects are noticed all over. But this railway and bridge to Denmark has stimulated grow and expansion of Malmoe and has also led to many effective redevelopment projects to bring life to the core. The flow used to be always towards Copenhagen but possibility for Sunday shopping brings many Danes into Malmoe. Compared to before, when the only way to Copenhagen was by pedestrian ferry, this whole region has developed much more than other parts of Sweden.
