This photo is taken from a new subway station in Oslo. It depicts a fresco painting inside the station. Fresco is a technique of painting that is closely associated with Italian Renaissance painting. The materials used in this painting is stone from Gotland in Sweden. This is a good example of globalized building. The technique is from one country, the materials from another country and the building in a third country.
