1) As you can see, I've got a few options to travel from my parents' home to university. A few factors play an important role in my decision process. Lets start with the first part of the journey, there are two alternatives, short walk and bus or bike and train. Most times I take the first alternative. Here are the weather and effort I've to make the decision making factors. The cold temperatures, especially in the early morning, makes me prefer the slightly longer walk and bus ride over the other alternative. In summer, I choose the second alternative more often, because as a real dutchmen, I really love riding the bike. For my second part of the journey I don't have different alternatives, it's just one train that I can take. But for the last part I've, a bus ride and very short walk or a 10 min bike ride. Since public transport is free for me (student) and again because of the weather, I choose the first alternative more frequently. But if the weather is good or I'm in a rush, I take the bike.
