1) The current share of sustainable energy production in Amsterdam is around 5.8%, which is about 3% above national average. The wind turbines in the western part of the port of Amsterdam play a significant role in this production. Still the use of biomass and other waste is the main producer. 2) Of course the canals in Amsterdam are very important for the water transport within the city. Amsterdam has more than one hundred kilometers of canals, most of them dug in the 17th-century. The water level is quite constant, so there's almost zero danger for flooding. 3) The Amsterdam forrest is three times bigger than Central Park in New York and offers accommodation to many different animals. On a yearly base, about 6 million people visit the forrest to relax, sport or attend an event. 4) Basically the whole city of Amsterdam contributes to the cultural services. There's no city in the world like Amsterdam, it's unique. The 'Vondelpark' is one of the most populair places in Amsterdam for both local people and tourists. Also alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings and some canals are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
