1. The main fossil fuel source of my current country of residence (I actually come from Germany) are oil imports wit 20.62 Mtoe, followed by nuclear production 14.68 Mtoe and on third place in 2015 is the heavily increasing bio/waste production. Sweden is known for burning waste, even importing waste. That might be better than polluting the seas, but I wouldn't define it as renewable source. 2. The energy consumption is nearly equally big by Industry (11.02 Mtoe) and Other usage (11.55 Mtoe). Transport makes up 7.89 Mtoe of the cake. 3. Coal imports make up a small fraction of the energy sources in Sweden, yet it's necessary to bring this to zero. The renewable energies are increasing incredibly and should be further supported so nuclear production can decrease, which is not really happening. As mentioned before, I'm critical on bio/waste production, which is unfortunately increasing. Instead the hydro production should increase. Vattenfall, one of the major European energy players is 100% governmentally owned. Vattenfall means waterfall - the company should therefore get out of the coal business all over the world and focus on renewables. This CO2-Export might be one of the biggest problems for a sustainable Sweden.
