This photo of a roundabout shows a road leading to a medical science university housing a large hospital and various other medical facilities. On the other side of the road we can see pharmacies which cater to the patients who visit the medical facility from other parts of the city, nearby towns and villages. Also visible are different types of vehicles patients, medical personnel and students use to reach the place since public transport is almost non-existent. We can see type of each vehicle going towards the medical institute but what is hidden from us is its place of origin, number of persons overboard and their purpose of visit. Such information from vehicles passing through this place can be very helpful to plan bus service to certain neighborhoods or nearby towns which have significant number of people coming this place. Also we can generate a real-time map of disease prevalence in the city and its hinterlands to efficiently position medical personnel in Primary Health Centers (PHCs) spread across the region to provide convenient medical care.
