Q. What are the dominant fossil fuels used in your country? A. The dominant fossil fuel used in my country are; Oil, Coal and Natural gas. Q. Where are the dominant fossil fuels used in your country? A. In India, Oil products are majorly used for transportation and industries. Coal is used in industries. Natural gas is used for non-energy use industry. Q. It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmentally friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. How would you do that? A. The country should concentrate more on renewable sources of energy. It should improve the required infrastructure for producing wind energy, biomass energy, hydropower and geothermal energy. As lots of energy is consumed by transportation, we can use electric vehicles which minimizes the use of oil. India has a lot of rivers, so production of energy through damns is possible. As India receives abundant sunshine, the country can produce solar power.
