This photo was taken by me on July 2017. It represents on of the main streets in the historic centre of Barcelona - Via Laietana. Visible information: The street is divided in two zones - pedestrian sidewalks and carriageway, which also has a devision - some lines are only allowed to taxis and public transport. Carriageway has 4 lines, however only 1 is going to the central area, while 3 are to the seaside. Invisible information: The division means that that some routes in the city are more popular and more likely to cause traffic congestions. That is why the carriageway is not divided equally 2:2. How it helps? It helps to have control on traffic in the city and prevents jams.
