The creation of more roads to and from the city to reduce traffic, congestion, accidents and pollution. Also the implementation of alternate modes of transport ie use of bicycles for example. Furthermore, i would revise our public transport system to make people want to use it rather than private modes. If the 2 latter actions can be implemented successfully, there will be no need for additional large scale infrastructure to be implemented thus saving costs and reducing vehicular emitted pollution.
