Number of buses and passengers coming in and out of this downtown station 2. Length of commute during various days of the week and time of day from various bus stations outside the city to this downtown station #2 above can become knowledge of commuting patterns and can contribute to planning a more livable urban space. Knowledge of these patterns might indicate that additional services and conveniences could improve the commute experience or attract people to use the public transportation and lessen downtown car congestion such as: amenities at the bus station (retail/ coffee stalls, seating, lighting, protection from the cold/rain, safety, park & ride lots from stations outside the city, time & frequency of buses and more.
