This is a picture of Gurney Drive, Penang, Malaysia on Sunday 7.40am 1. Visible Information: Here there are high end malls such Gurney Plaza and Paragon Mall. Along the road are luxury condominiums and some 4 stars hotel. To the right of the picture there is also a popular hawker food area. The road is narrow because it was built in 1934 and traffic is mostly crawling during peak hours or during weekends. 2. Invisible Information a. Traffic Flow Cameras are place at the crossroad and is able to calculate the number of cars passing by each day. As it is congested the traffic lights will display timer The ground sensor will adjust according to the traffic as well. b. Car Park Total numbers of drivers parking each day will be known with the help of sensors Sensors are being place on every car park, red means occupied and green means available. 3. Data collected on Car Park have shown that there was a shortage on car park. Therefore, a multistory car park is being plan to accommodate additional 1500 cars.
