The distance between my house and my office is only about 2kms. In Route 1, using the Car takes about 5minutes. The car journey is Fast, less time taking and it is useful when I have to rush to the office for a meeting. But us of case leads to fossil fuel use and Carbon Emission. Taking Route 2, that is Walking, takes around 20 minutes. It is slow, more time consuming but it is Healthy, Zero Carbon Emission and environment friendly. But it is not possible to go walking to the office for reasons in a hot & tropical climate. Because, some of the months, the temperature is very high, there is dust and during rainy season, that is for around three months in the year, walking to office is not possible.
