I live in Thiruvananthapuram which is the capital of the southern Indian state of Kerala. The city has a population of 957,730 inhabitants and a metropolitan population of 1.68 million, making it the most populous city and the fifth most populous urban agglomeration in Kerala. Thiruvananthapuram ranks number one position in livability ranking in the Annual Survey of India's City-System (ASICS) undertaken by not-for-profit institution Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy (JCCD) in 2017, which evaluated 21 major cities from the country's 18 states.
