Based on this, your task for this week is to describe your own idea for a Citizen Design Science project! If I could start a citizen Design Science project I would try and make cities more sustainable. I would create focus groups for different areas in the city and combine people form the municipally, businesses and citizens who live in the area or work in the area to create the best ideas on how to make the city more sustainable. To bring the residents of the neighborhoods or areas into the process of transitioning their neighborhood to a more sustainable area is essential if you want the transition to work. They know their own neighborhood more than urban planners simply because they live there and if they get the change to actively contribute they will create the best solutions for the area.
