1. 2. I found data from a public rapport about the heat in the city of Zwolle. It shows that the heat in the city center is well regulated. There is more of a head stress in the areas where people live a bit more outside of the city center. Thephoto add is left is taken close to the city center.and right was taken outside of the city. 3. I have been to one of the neighberhoods that has more heat in the summer. I think that there should be more shade to protect from the sun. It gets this warm because it is directly under the sun and there is no water nearby or in the neighborhood. So I would look at possibilities to create more shade and to create more water 4. Is UHI effect concerning policy making in your area? I do not believe that it is one of the main topics of the policy making of the municipality in our city. However they did do a research on this topic. So they are aware of it and work with it. Their main focus is on creating an amazing city center to attract more people.
