I am agree with the definition: 'almost every building contains components of a globalized economy'. Most of the time the designers are inspired by insights from different countries and the majority of the materials and components has origins in other countries. In my example the product (ceramic tiles) has been in made in the 'own' country. The Museum de Fundatie in Zwolle has been expanded and rebuilt in 2013. The architect of expansion is Bierman Henket Architecten. The architect has chosen the ellipse-form for the expansion part of the building. The form is covered by ceramic tiles. The majority of the tiles have white color in variation with blue tiles. All tiles have been produced and supplied by the company from the Netherlands Koninklijke Tichelaar Makkum. The ceramic tiles are reflecting the (sun)light in various directions. Source: https://www.tichelaar.nl/projecten/museum-de-fundatie-zwolle
