Firstly,stocks and flows represent something that stay or leave the city or any particular place or even a country eventually.In my study,i have analysed my local residential area and brought together a few examples. 1. Food(material)-Since this area is almost away from the main part of the city,people go to the main town to buy veggies and stuff.But a few of them also bring the market area within the housing to sell them.After a days work they move to their respective areas.From this the food supply flows on a particular pattern as weekly twice. 2.Electrical lines(energy)-The main supply grid is of the course and secondary lines are brought inside the area through the poles. Energy flows from the main grid of the city to the required areas. 3.Water-Water supply is by ground water in almost every part of the city.And in some cases from water tanks or nearby lakes.
