Route 1: walk (1 minute, 50 meters) car (24 minutes) walk (1 minute, 50 meters) Route 2: walk (3 minutes, 200 meters) bus (51 minutes) walk (4 minutes, 250 meters) Route 3: bicycle (5 minutes, 1500 meters) train (19 minutes) walk (150 minutes, 1500 meters) I usually take the car. But I sometimes take the train which is convenient and second best in travel time. I never take the bus as it is almost as double as traveling by car. I love to walk or to cycle so I don't mind the steep walk from the train station to the office. But on the other hand the scenery is quite dull and not very attractive. The car also gives me more freedom: I can travel anytime I like as the bus and the train have a schedule of just 2 times an hour. Social factors are quite important for me in making this decisions. We try to car pool so often I travel with my team members. The bus is quite dull and empty while I often meet acquaintances on the train or on the station. This station serves more destinations then my city of work.
