I live in Napoli, and there are no Citizen Design Science projects. But there are many areas of my city where it would be possible and indispensable to re-qualify according to the methods studied in the course. For example, the neighborhood of Secondigliano, district of Scampia, are also known to the world for degradation and non-viability. Problems resolving them by implementing a sustainable urban regeneration program of the entire area affected by the modification. Firstly, strengthening the schools. Creating points of attraction that provide a laurel of suburbs to the city center. Avoiding ghettoing families residing in that particular area of the city. Bringing culture, information, education. Bring sustainable development, work on a theme together with citizens. Create sustainable and social development. Getting citizens to participate in public affairs.
