The proposal is to create an app that could help to establish the current conditions of the city green spaces and collaboratively define a strategy to rethink their role. Each app user could access the app and provide information about the type of green space they are visiting (park, garden, street, wetland, etc), upload photos, indicate how they feel while being there, collect information about the vegetation that is present, report green features that are under risk or in critical conditions and provide design ideas on how the place could be rethougth, transformed, updated or mantained. The app could also become a platform for stakeholders to discuss issues related to the relevance of green spaces in the city and promote different activities around those issues (debates, site visits, design projects, cultural, recreational, scientific and academic activities and so on). The proposal is conceived as a strategy to reconnect citizens with nature through the interaction with green urban spaces.
