Five most livevable cities: Toronto, Copenhagen, Sydney, Vilnius and Vienna. Five most important factors: Security, Transport, Environment, Culture and Healthcare. Currently status of the city of Alicante: Security: As most of the cities in Spain, Alicante is a safe city in which you can walk through the entire city whenever you want, without the fear of being mug. Transport: Decent public transport system, though presents a lack of bus lines to connect the peripheral neighbourhoods. It can be improved. Environment: City open to the Mediterranean Sea, though lacks of green spaces. It can be improved. Culture: It offers a good variety of cultural events, but most of them only during summer season as a consequence of the amount of tourists that come spend their holidays here. It can be improved. Healthcare: Within the public health system that holds the whole country. The economic crisis has affected it somehow, but it still works pretty decently. Though it is one of the best systems in the world, it can be improved.
