In the picture you can see Alicante's Train Station and a bus passing by. I decided to take this picture to show the importance of public transport in developed cities. Most of the citizens of Alicante rely on public transport, though traffic is still more dense than I would like it to be. I think that city halls and administrations should work harder on providing a better public transport system that would allow people to stop using private cars, hence reducing levels of traffic and pollution. I know it might sound like an utopia but I truly believe that working together and with good proposals cities can improve a lot their quality of live. Better designed bus/tram routes, public bikes, easy connections among transports, cycling routes, better environmentally-friendly education, ...
