In Kuwait, almost every single element used in construction industry now a days has a global impact either by being imported as final product or as raw material to be manufactured locally. In the uploaded photo above you can see the use of natural stone cladding imported from Europe, Jordan, Lebanon, India, Syria or Saudi Arabia. Cranes used at the construction sites are from all over Europe; France, Germany, etc. Limestone, bauxite and iron ore are being imported as raw materials from UAE, Iran, Saudi Arabia, India, and china to be used in the production of clinker, the essential raw material for the manufacture of cement. Aluminum composite panels are imported from china, Saudi Arabia, and UAE. Furniture and lighting fixtures are mostly imported from china and Italy.
