FC-04x Responsive Cities (1st Run) - Exercise 4: "City App"

Uploaded on 2017-11-27 by Sandro

Inspired by ridiculously long traffic light phases observed at the construction site of Baden's new intersection “Schulhausplatz”, this app allows users to take pictures of traffic lights (primarily pedestrian traffic lights) and complain to the city about long phases – for example with a rating system of “OK, too long, far too long”. The backend could then employ a democratic system for adjusting the phases so that the complaints from all directions of the intersection even out. Excessive amounts of complaints could also tell the city that it's time to construct a roundabout or take other measures to alleviate traffic.
