In Metro Manila, Philippines, one of the major transportation options is sharing ‘JEEPNEY', reusing the jeeps which American Army abandoned. While we have authorizing system of jeepneys by the government, no official maps nor timelines exist. Of cause, we can not search routes on the google map and daily heavy traffic is main variable factor. Problems are i) absence of maps, ii) unknown fee, iii) unknown time of arrival (for waiting), iv) unknown duration time. On the other hand, it is very unique transportation culture only in the Philippines and drivers paint differently to express their identity. I would like to design the application to solve above problems and to share the good decoration and enjoy its uniqueness. The app’s function is simple. Passengers can open the app when they get on and say ‘IN’. For getting off, they say ‘OUT’. Collected data can be used for making the maps and can offer average duration time of any route and transferring information. They can also upload pictures of jeepneys with‘LIKE’ if they like .
