The idea behind CEnergy is to co-create the city level energy supply and distribution system. The current distribution of energy to citizens is highly varied and chaotic in developing countries. This app aims at motivating people to install renewable energy technologies like solar roof or heat pumps by providing an incentive. It compares energy consumption of people with similar demands in the neighborhood and encourages them to perform well. The city can track this data, identify what kind of behavior people exhibit and provide subsidies or incentives to individuals(eg. money) or communities(eg. community buildings/parks) as a whole.
