This image shows a structural steel column with a lightweight steel frame infill panel, lined with plywood. The plywood originates in China, where it was grown, felled, sawn, formed, cut and packed before being shipped to UK, for handling, storage, distribution, re-handling and finally being fixed in place as part of a new school under construction.
