In Zurich there are often Spaces which are temporarily unoccupied until a new builing is planned and built. The app "Zürich als Brache" ("Zurich as fallow") would give the citizens an opportunity to make use of these spaces and to be an active part of the community. The city goverment could post every unused space and the duration it may be used for temporary projects. The citizen can then submit his/her project idea via text, picture, video etc. and easily and very directly get a permission. The calender gives an overview on the different projects runing at the moment and on those which are planned for the future.
